And yet those killer words will never bring summer back. Bite-size pieces of love swell underneath the ground. Possibly under the spell of evil spirits, invoked by the nasty curse of stubborn loyalty. Dogs sniffing at your feet. Have no fear Rainbow warrior of two-spirits gentle hand and lion-hearted. Deep inside with laughter and tears. Thank you electronic playthings, toy pianos and guns come out to play. Well beyond partial committed tasks, the karmic wheel of nature never ceases to surprise. The brief and intense heat of summer might have passed by, come on over showers of May. Short of willing summer solstice, Labor day memoriam is much awaited Monthly Period Readings. Calling all brave ones to conquer the congregation of our occasional no-holds-barred declarations. Possibly in the short history of our monthly readings, expect longer dionysian spells with featured reader Chingbee Cruz in conversation with Mark Cayanan. Joining labor day eve are Anina Abola, Mikael Co, Husein Macarambon, Jay Bordon, Gelo Suarez, Ramil Gulle, Peachy Paderna, hosted by Andrea Téran.
So, come out over. Burn those words lying underneath your tongues, exorcise the child who wants to come out and play!
